Realizing The Self

Realizing The Self

Joy is that energy within us which emerges when we discover ourself. To have continous (eternal) joy in life, realize the self regularly. Positive thinking and good wishes to others also brings us joy. When a surprise gift or unexpected good result comes to us, we feels joy.

Let us begin with the qualities of the self. Peace, happiness, purity, love, joy, wisdom and power are the basic and elementary qualities of the self or the conscient being. These can be called natural instincts of the conscient being.
Peace:  Peace is such property of us (we conscient beings) which brings orderliness in activities of our life. When there is peace, there is contentment. When there is contentment, there is everything. Peace is the invaluable, free of cost property of us. It is within you. Just as a hot object radiates heat to the surroundings (environment), ones state of peacefulness also radiates rays of peace to the environment. To bring such state of mind and to the ultimately to the nature (instincts),  practice daily
in the morning –

I am a peaceful being, a point of white light in between the forehead.
Visualise- Rays (stream) of sky blue colour in the form of peace falls upon the point of light (conscient being) on your forehead from above and spread to the whole body.
Try to become vegetarian. It will keep your body calm.
When we become aware of our internal power (peace), anger and other vices will be removed. Power of
peace can tame down a wild animal also.

Happiness:  When one realize or expresses oneself, one feels happiness. It is another property and original instincts of the conscient being. To realize or to express oneself means to realize or express ones real values (instincts). If values are mixed with vices, one gets happiness in percentage. The nature of the conscient being is of constant happiness. Like peace, the conscient being also radiates happiness to the surroundings when he is in the state of happiness. Not physical things are the source of happiness (or gives happiness) but these are the gadgets which instincts(nature) of the conscient being exercises. Real happiness is not temporary or dependent. And also it is not coloured up on dirties.
To have everlasting happiness –
Try to be positive.
Avoid unnecessary and negative things.
Be hopeful.
Try to be constructive minded, not destructive.
Try to be solution conscious rather than problem conscious.
Think- your original nature is happiness, not sadness.
Do not give remote of your life to other’s hand.
Try to realize the conscient being – a point of white light in the midst of brain (source of happiness). See the light for a while.
You (conscient being, soul) are the son of God, ocean of happiness, no question of sadness.

Purity:  Purity is we conscient being’s own nature. It means free of dust. No one likes dirt. Purity means free of negative thinking. It means positive thinking. Purity means linked to God. Purity is the feeling that will take you to eternal peace and inexpressible happiness. In fact, purity is the mother of all values. Where there is purity, there is peace and happiness. No purity means no peace and no happiness. Purity means transparency. Purity makes one worshipworthy. It means to win over vices – sex and anger. It also implies good wishes to all and not bad feeling and hatred; and accuracy in words, actions. To experience purity-
Talk to yourself –purity is my own nature. I am a pure soul in the midst of the brain,a white point of light.
Visualise- a stream of white ray falls on the conscient being (the point of light).I am becoming pure.
Try to avoid evil/ uncivil friend circle.
Try to be vegetarian.
After rising up in the morning, remember God and take a positive thought like-I am a pure soul, I am a peaceful soul, happiness is my own nature etc.
Try to enjoy pure life.

Joy:  Joy is that energy within us which emerges when we discover ourself. To have continous (eternal) joy in life, realize the self regularly. Positive thinking and good wishes to others also brings us joy. When a surprise gift or unexpected good result comes to us, we feels joy.
Dominating, harassing others do not bring us joy. These may temporarily give us satisfaction but actually these eat the self internally and are the result of failure.

Love:  Love is also human being’s own nature. Love is that energy which is radiated selflessly (unconditionally). It is the matter of loving the soul and not a body which is infact a part of impure desire. It is that energy which is given automatically. Love is to be for all, not to be for a particular person.

Love the self first, love God, love all, love animals.

Wisdom:  The true nature of the soul is that of wisdom. Wisdom means to know the self, realize the qualities of the self and apply them. It implies to have peace, purity, happiness, love, truthfulness, and other values. It also means to know about the vices and bad effects of vices and to destroy them.

Power:  It is also the nature of the conscient being. It indicates the power to face obstacles. It is the energy to protect the virtues and destroy the vices. To experience the soul power-visualize- a stream of red colour falls on the conscient being from above.

We have known how beautiful our inner self is. Let us now try to realize the self. We are actually a conscient being, a source of energy, a point of light, called soul that lie in the midst of the brain, the master (controller) of the body. We souls live in the hypothalamus, near pituitary gland in the brain and controls the organs. We, souls are not physical beings but in fact spiritual beings and the body is like a car in which we are drivers. We are also the sons of Supreme soul God who is ocean of peace, ocean of purity, ocean of happiness, ocean of bliss.

To experience the soul, visualize- I am a point of light in the centre of the brain, a white light shinning star, a peaceful soul, pure soul, a powerful soul, a loveful soul, a joyful soul and a wise soul.

INTERACTIVE LOVE AND LEARNING

INTERACTIVE LOVE AND LEARNING

Undoubtedly the journey of life starts once a child leaves the mother’s womb. His first mentor is his mother but in the world of wisdom, it’s the ‘Certified Teacher’ who holds his finger and marches ahead.

Time has changed; therefore along with the change of time a massive transformation in the field of education has also been observed. The education system that has been followed in the last decades has drastically undergone a significant alteration in recent time. Through conducting various research and experiment programs, it has been concluded that children learn much quickly and easily when a teacher deals them with love and affection and through a proper way of communication. Now, by the term ‘Interactive Love’ I mean a strong bond of relationship of love and affection between a teacher and a student that develops through mutual understanding and by both means of communication – verbal and non verbal. The ultimate goal of teaching-learning process is to emanate passion to learn and explore, blended with an untiring zeal to achieve the target dreamt and set forth.

Alex was a newly appointed teacher in an international school in London. He was a very humble and soft-spoken teacher. The first day, when he was with class V students, a student named Marry stood up and said,“Sir, please promise us that you will never scold and punish us.”
Alex smiled at her and said, “Ok, I won’t but you all promise me that you will also learn your lesson nicely and pay full attention to my lecture.”
“Ok Sir, we will.” Everybody said. And thus the class went on.
After a few days Alex planned to take a verbal assessment on the topic he had recently taught. He asked a question to Marry. But she couldn’t reply to that and burst into tears. Alex was astonished with her such reaction. He felt very sad and went up to her, seeing her crying.
“What happened to you Marry? Why are you crying?” Alex enquired.
“Sir you teach us so nicely with love and care and yet I couldn’t reply to your question.” Marry replied, eyes brimming with tears.
That was enough to break Alex emotionally. His eyes became moist. Controlling his emotions, Alex patted her and said in a very polite tone, “It’s ok Marry; I will teach you again. Please don’t cry.” But she went on crying. Alex pretending that he was searching something around him and said, “Look at me Marry; I don’t have a bucket to keep your tears. Where will I keep them?” Marry looked at the moist eyes of Alex,
“I am sorry sir..! I will learn my lessons nicely and will never disappoint you again.” She replied in a submissive tone.
A few days later, Alex again took a verbal assessment and in that, he had observed that Marry could answer all his questions correctly and efficiently.
Thus, Alex is just an example. I am sure, there are many other teachers who follow the principle of interactive love in teaching-learning process. It not only makes the learning  process much easy and effective but also helps to develop moral values in children.
Each and every child is a unique creation of God. It is the upbringing that churns the nectar present in everybody. If you could remember the film ‘Taare Zameen Par’, Darsheel Zafary plays the character Ishaan, a boy who is affected by dyslexia. The condition impairs his ability to read as well as to perform mathematical equations, and the child finds himself slipping through the cracks at school, unable to cope up with his classmates. When things hit rock bottom, the boy is slipped off to a boarding school, as his father believes his poor performance is strictly a matter of indiscipline.
But although Ishaan’s academic skills prove to be lackluster, he displays a set of extraordinary abilities that go virtually unnoticed by his parents and teachers: he has an unusual talent for drawing and art, as well as a keen eye and sensitivity towards nature. His teacher, Ram (played by Amir Khan), noticed the boy’s gifts, and draws them out into a limelight for his father and all to behold. In the end, everyone is forced to re-evaluate their perspective of ability, which they come to realize may manifest in ways other than academic proficiency.
This inspiring film marked a new era for education for India. With its slogan, ‘Every child is special’, ‘Taare Zameen Par’ caught the pulse of everyone, which had been growing increasingly frustrated with the ‘Factory-Style’ system of education. People knew that there was something more to education than memorization for the sake of passing exams.
Undoubtedly the journey of life starts once a child leaves the mother’s womb. His first mentor is his mother but in the world of wisdom, it’s the ‘Certified Teacher’ who holds his finger and marches ahead. The journey devoid of love, care and compassion will merely render the education process incomplete and charmless. Present society demands those teachers whose mission is to embrace all with love and make this world a beautiful place to live in sans of bloodshed and hatred.
